Old friends, new ideas, and a front door on the wrong street- and as each board was sanded and every surface painted the South Texas-meets-New Orleans style of The Venue on Church Street began to come to life. In Historic Downtown of Cuero, Texas, The Venue is where class will become part of your occasion. Whether it is a wedding, the reception, or the reunion of old classmates or family, The Venue on Church Street is available to host your most memorable moments.
The building of The Venue originally was the home of the Stower's Furniture store was then followed by Stimson's. The large display windows have now been converted into a French style, and the original Church Street facing entrance has been converted into a French door entranceway facing Gonzales Street. The original hardwood floors have been restored, and the bricks have been given a second life after being recycled from an older DeWitt County building.
The owners of The Venue on Church Street were born and have raised their own children in the South Texas Coastal region. Their family values and hardworking attitudes have come through in the feel and style of The Venue on Church Street, where they desire to make your occasion as special as it can be.
